Writing and recording the Nightrawlers EP with Austin has been a humbling and live giving experience. The unexpected twists and turns throughout the first week brought to surface emotions and internal struggles in me personally that were a bittersweet revelation. Perspective...I am indeed control freak. Austin helped me not only break out of my shell musically, but also taught me how to handle letting the music stay music even through such a technical and mental process as recording. I have a new found respect for my fellowship musician and will owe him for how he's taught me to drive my emotions rather than having my emotions driving me. These songs (in my opinion) show life and emotion of a spiritual journey we've all faced but rarely name, which often will come in the night. We made this for you! I hope
you share these songs and experiences with friends that are as dear to as this project was to all of us!
(Thank You Austin...Fairline will be a better band because of this experience!)...more
